Artists United Against FGM is an International Association uniting artist. By using art as a way to communicate and raise awareness on the issue of FGM, We are able to support the efforts of national committees of the IAC in the form of financing and volunteer work. We aim for an eclectic mix of artistic expression like painting, sculpture, performance, installations, poetry, jewelry , writing and music. Our first event focuses on Gambia Given our scale of opération and the wish to create as direct link as possible between donators and beneficiaries, we select a specific focus with each event. Our aim is to yield more visibility as to what is being done with donors’ funds.
